The roots of J.K.B.K. Govt. College can be traced back to 22nd August 1972 when the ‘New Government College’ started functioning in Ravenshaw Collegiate School, Cuttack. It was shifted on 01.01.73 to the premises of the college of Accountancy and to the premises of the college of Accountancy and Management Studies at Jobra and formally inauguration on 19.01.73 by the then Education Minister of Orissa Mr. Binayak Acharya. To serve the society and improve the quality of life by imparting high quality education in academic, cultural and physical activities and prepare the talented youth as responsible and useful citizens for effective participation in all areas of developmental process and nation building. To be an Institute of Academic Excellence with total commitment to quality education with a holistic concern for better life, environment and society. We are what we repeatedly do.
