Jamtara Mahila Sandhya mahavidyalay jamtara was established in 1994, it is situated in fully backward scheduled caste and scheduled tribe area in the heart of jamtara. Around 85-90 kilometer radius no other mahila college is situated. it is onl ius no other mahila college is situated. it is only one mahila college for higher education which got permanent affiliation for jharkhand govt and also regd :in UGC 2(F) and 12(b). Schedule tribe hostel facility available for 100 students. from time to time college organized national seminar, sport and many other activity.
