The Nursing school “Jaideep Sharda Memorial Nursing Academy” was started in 2006.The nursing school offers two courses. A Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) and A diploma in Auxillary Nursing and Midwifery (ANM). The Course is recogni Nursing and Midwifery (ANM). The Course is recognized by the Indian Nursing Council, Delhi and Gujarat Nursing Council, Ahmedabad & Govt. of Gujarat. The students procure excellent training facilities with SMIMER (Surat Municipal Institute for Education and Medical Research) Hospital, Sahara Darwaja, Surat. It is a 750 bedded modern hospital with all departments The trust stepped forward and shared the responsibility to be a part of this noble profession as there is an acute shortage of trained nurses in India. The sole purpose is to support the medical services by equipping student nurses with the best knowledge. The students actively share the social responsibility to serve society. They execute medical camps, health awareness programs, Medical exhibitions, health talks and workshops, street plays, rural development programs, blood donation camps, national immunization programs etc. During the pandemic the student nurses have participated in Covid Care duties. They have served the covid patients as frontline corona Warriors.
