Students at JIMS are introduced with diverse industry-to industry working styles. This helps students in mastering the concepts of end-to-end delivery of the commodities. Students under non-university subjects are galvanized to innovate a conceptu ity subjects are galvanized to innovate a conceptual solution in the form of research papers and consultancy projects. The Ministry of Education (MoE), through MoE’s Innovation Cell (MIC), launched the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) program at JIMS in collaboration with AICTE for Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs) primarily engages many students in various innovation,entrepreneurship,internship and IPR activities. JIMS is involved in rigorous placement and pre-placement activities for broadening the job opportunities for its students. Alumni interaction sessions are organized on regular basis to mentor the students for industry and career perspectives. Every year JIMS formulates 5-6 weeks summer training based on emerging technologies or programming languages. These trainings induce introductory and advance level concepts in the minds of students along with the practical implementations on live projects. To be an Institute of Academic Excellence with total commitment to quality education and research in Management and Information Technology with a holistic concern for better life, environment and society. To serve the society and improve the quality of life by imparting high quality education in management and information technology, providing training and development services, fostering research, giving consultancy services to industry and disseminating knowledge through the publication of books, journals and magazines.
