About Institute of Nephro Urology, Bengaluru
Realizing the need for superspeciality care & research in the field of Nephro-Urology Government established the Institute consolidating the existing manpower & material in the Department of Medical Education on 19.01.2004. This has been further augm ducation on 19.01.2004. This has been further augmented by recruitment of additional manpower & procurement of modern equipment. This Institute was dedicated to the public by Hon'ble Chief Minister and Chairman of the Governing Council Sri. H.D. Kumaraswamy on 04.10.2007. The Institute has MOU with Bangalore Medical College. Institute of Nephro-Urology is a premier organization promoting Health Care Services in the field of Nephrology and Urology. It is an autonomous body of the Government of Karnataka, registered under Karnataka Societies Registration Act 1960 as “Institute of Nephro-Urology", Karnataka on 19.01.2004 and it is aided by Government of Karnataka, since 2005 which is located in the campus of Victoria Hospital, Bangalore. To establish, maintain and develop an Institute of international standards to provide relief from Nephro-Urology diseases; To provide advanced treatment and comprehensive care to Nephro-Urology patients. To promote, support and encourage study, research and training programmes relating to prevention, diagnosis and treatment in the field of Nephro-Urology diseases; To provide treatment for the diseases related to Kidney Failure & Renal Transplant.
