Institute of Journalism and Communication (IJC) To prepare the Generation Next with required skill sets to meet the demand of ever evolving Industrial Domain and to develop an understanding of sustainability in the Industrial environment to be globa nability in the Industrial environment to be globally competent, Sardar Vallabhbhai Global University (SVGU) is established by the Government Gazette and Notification after it was passed in Gujarat Legislative Assembly. The Institute of Journalism and Communication (IJC) as a part of SVGU offers Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication (BAJMC)- 3 Year Degree Program, Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication (BAJMC)(Hons.)- 4 Year Degree Program and allied programs. The Degree Programs are designed as per the University Grants Commission (UGC) norms and guidelines of the New Education Policy 2020. IJC, established in the Year 2019, takes pride to announce that for the past four Academic Years i.e. 2019-2020, 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 and 2022-2023, the IJC students are among the top 10 rankers of BAJMC Examinations at Gujarat University.
