The Institute of Architecture and Planning at Nirma University (IAPNU) was founded in the year 2014 along the vision of Padmashri Dr Karsanbhai K. Patel and under the leadership of reputed professional and academician Dr. Utpal Sharma. The Institute l and academician Dr. Utpal Sharma. The Institute aims at imparting high-quality education in the field of designing built environment and human settlements through the disciplines of Architecture and Planning. The Institute offers a 5-year undergraduate programme in Bachelor of Architecture (B Arch) which is duly recognised by Council of Architecture (COA). The programme closely connects with the creative realm of imagination and empirical execution of the same. The Institute’s pedagogy focuses on understanding of scenarios, development of perception, interaction with the real world and learning by doing. The Institute is endowed with a strong core faculty members whose experience and dedication towards knowledge dissemination assures development of socially and professionally responsible individuals who would effectively contribute to the physical, social, environmental progress of the nation. The Institute has alliances with the various national and international institutes that enhance and augment global exposure of students. The Institute also offers doctoral programme in Architecture.
