The Samaj has a string of educational institutions in the Twin cities, the first one being Sri Gujarati Vidya Mandir which was started in the year 1930. Shri Gujarati Pragati Samaj, established on 13th November, 1943 runs a string of educational institutions from Kindergarten to Post graduate. The Management of the Samaj comprises of dedicated persons with Social and Philanthropic outlook. Shri Mahesh S. Patel, Honorary President of the Samaj, Shri Jignesh C. Doshi, Hon. Secretary of the Samaj and Shri Gopal O. Patel, Correspondent of Pragati Mahavidyalaya Colleges are instrumental in expanding the educational activities, infrastructural development of the institution run by Samaj.
