Cholmondeley, an Oxford University graduate and Bar-at-law, as its first Principal. Initially affiliated with Calcutta University, it later moved to Allahabad University in 1904 and is currently affiliated with Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV), an A++ NAAC-rated university in Indore.
