About Higher Diploma in Cooperative Management (HDCM), URICM

Higher Diploma in Cooperative Management is the core programme of the Institute. A Higher Diploma in Cooperative Management typically refers to a specialized educational program aimed at providing students with comprehensive knowledge and skills rela dents with comprehensive knowledge and skills related to the management and operation of cooperative organizations. Cooperatives are business entities owned and operated by their members, who share in the decision-making processes and profits. Till date, Institute has conducted 33 such programmes. A group of experts drawn from major Management Institutes including IIM, Ahmedabad, has prepared the syllabus and design of this diploma programme. In all 13 subjects are covered in two Semesters, each consisting of 3 months. To give it practical touch project study and observation study tour of some cooperatively developed state is undertaken. Participants consist of middle level officers from Cooperative Department, Cooperative Organizations, Cooperative Institutions and graduates from University / Colleges.
