About GTU - Graduate School of Pharmacy (GSP)
Gujarat Technological University (GTU) established Graduate School of Pharmacy (GSP) from the academic year 2017-18. Currently it offers M. Pharm in Pharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs, Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance, Pharmaceutics and Phytopharmacy uality Assurance, Pharmaceutics and Phytopharmacy & Phytomedicine courses. From Academic Year 2022-23 Graduate School of Pharmacy offers B. Pharm Course. The courses are approved by PCI. It aspires to be one of the leading graduate schools in pharmacy to cater the growing need of qualified Graduate and Post Graduate level (U.G., PG & Ph.D.) human resources for Pharmaceutical Industries, Research Organizations, Pharmaceutical Education and Healthcare Sector. To emerge as a globally recognized premier Pharmacy Institute in Teaching, Research, Innovations, Consultancy and Entrepreneurial Training in Pharmaceutical Sciences. To implement modern pedagogical methods to excel in teaching, learning and research through necessary resources. To develop a transparent management system that facilitates staff development and encourages innovation and flexibility. Development of multi talent human resources by skill up-gradation of students through specialized courses and training and by facilitating international student and faculty exchange programmes. To engage in translational research through interdisciplinary research team and intensive symbiosis with the industries & research institutes for mutual benefits. To organize International & National conferences, structured workshops and outreach programmes for the benefit of students, professionals and society. Graduate School of Pharmacy (GSP), at Gujarat Technological University is in its infancy with commitments of students, dedicated faculty and support from Gujarat Technological University and all other stake holders, its aspires to be one of the premier institutes in the field of Pharmaceutical Education and Research. In addition to M. Pharm programme it has under its umbrella Centre for Pharmaceutical Studies and Drug Delivery Technologies. Through this center, it plans to undertake research projects in the area of Drug Discovery and Drug Delivery technologies. It plans to establish a center for skill development in the Life Sciences Sector as well as a center for continuing education in Pharmaceutical Sciences. We look forward for the support and collaboration with pharmaceutical industries, Drug Regulatory Authorities and all concerned with Pharmaceutical sector.
