Government Polytechnic, Ambala City is situated in the heart of the City. This city is known for its production of scientific instruments all over the world. It is also well known as city of mixies. In 1958, institute was renamed as Government Polytechnic. It is situated in Ambala city - Chandigarh highway. Institute is 1 KM away from the bus stand & 1.5 KM. from the railway station. The institute is spread over a land area of 24.6 acres.
