GECK , an Government engineering college is located at madapatna village, 2kms from kushalnagar and 30kms from madikeri and well connected by madikeri Road. Government engineering college, kushalnagar was established in the year 2007 by the govern gar was established in the year 2007 by the government of karnataka, department of Technical education, bengaluru- 560001. it is Approved by AICTE, New Delhi and is affiliated to VTU, Belguam. the primary aim of establishing the college at the gateway of KODAGU(coorg) is to provide quality technical education to the students and to achieve academic excellence in UG program. All admission to the college are made through Common Entance Test(CET), conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA), Bengaluru. GECK has four major departments in engineering that is Electronics & communication , computer science , mechanical , civil engineering branch. each branch has 4 years course duration of 8 semisters, per year 2 semister , per one semister 8 subjects.
