Government Engineering College, DAHOD (GEC)

Government Engineering College, Dahod was established in June 2004. It falls directly under Commissionerate of Technical Education, Education Department - Government of Gujarat. Government Engineering College Dahod is approved by AICTE and affiliated College Dahod is approved by AICTE and affiliated to Gujarat Technological University (GTU). The total built up area of college is 17 acres which also includes hostel facilities. The college campus has four academic blocks, a workshop block, a library block and an amenities block that houses canteen, sports corner and girls common room. GEC Dahod started with the intake of 60 students each for Civil, Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, and Electronics & Communication department. Now current intake for Civil, Electronics & Communication and Electrical branches is 30 students. The intake is 60 students for Computer Engineering department. The intake is 60 students for Mechanical department. The institute also run Post Graduate programs affiliated to GTU with intake of 18 students each for Civil Engineering (Structural Engineering) and Mechanical Engineering (CAD/CAM). GEC Dahod holds few of the most experienced, senior teaching staff comprising Professors and Associate Professors along with talented young brigade of Assistant Professors and Lecturers in all branches.
