GMU Journal of Maritime Environmental Law (GJMEL)

The GMU Journal of Maritime Environmental Law (GJMEL) is an initiative of the Centre for Maritime Environmental Law (CMEL) associated to the Gujarat Maritime University. The centre is exclusively dedicated to foster active research on the contemporar cated to foster active research on the contemporary issues oriented with Marine Environmental Law. The Centre aspires to become a Centre of excellence for research, advocacy and capacity building in the field of the Maritime Environmental law and to be recognized locally and globally. In its endeavour to contribute to the burgeoning field of Marine Environmental Law, the centre has introduced its Annual Print Journal, thereby calling out the legal community such as the student, academicians, professionals, policy makers, entrepreneurs and other esteemed guest from legal fraternity to contribute to the literature in the form of Research Paper/Articles. The journal aims to bring to light the various contemporary issues related to the marine environment. The editorial team and the peer review jury comprises the esteemed professors, Ph.D. research scholars and other esteemed law fraternity. The GMU Journal of Maritime Environmental Law (GJMEL) dedicated to promote and publish doctrinal and empirical research in the field of maritime environment law and aims to reduce the gap between research and practice.
