Shree Monark Education Trust (SMET) being the sponsoring/promoting body of the Monark University was established in the year 2001 in the field of education. Faculty of social work focus on to provide Well Blended Eco-system to foster Employable Skill Well Blended Eco-system to foster Employable Skills & Entrepreneurship. The focus of the department has been on strengthening Social Work Research and Community extension Work. We most likely to arrange regular Extra Curriculum Activities to give Real Social Sector Exposure.It has always tried to enhance the zeal & competence of the faculty by encouraging them to undergo training, attend workshop, and publish good research work at national and international level. Besides, it has incorporated innovative teaching and learning practices along with improving the classroom teaching, in the form of supplementary field visits, guest lectures, conclaves, summit, seminars & workshop . With the blessings of the Goddess Saraswati, Shree Monark Education Trust (SMET) being the sponsoring/promoting body of the Monark University was established in the year 2001 as a result of the vision of its founder Chairman, Shri Mohanbharthi R. Goswami, a farmer and philanthropist, to promote world-class academic institutions. The following erstwhile institutions promoted by the Trust at fast pace have now come under the purview of the Monark University. In fast changing technological advancements and global economic environment, we planned to strive to bring global perspective to its academic programs and activities.
