The School of Basic Sciences was established to teach courses in the basic sciences at the graduate, postgraduate and research levels. It is well equipped to carry out both teaching and research through its various departments, namely Chemistry, Phys gh its various departments, namely Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Biosciences & Computer Applications. The School also offers MSc, MCA and PhD programs in the respective disciplines with syllabi for various core courses, which have been designed as a blend of core science and interdisciplinary topics.
