The state of Gujarat has traditionally been the hub of chemical and pharmaceutical industries in India. A number of major pharma companies are based in central and south Gujarat. Owing to this, there has always been a consistent demand for skilled ma has always been a consistent demand for skilled manpower and researchers. Established in 2006, the Faculty of Pharmacy has an overriding purpose to promote excellence in pharmaceutical education to meet the needs of industry and academia. The faculty provides courses for Bachelors, Masters, and Doctoral degrees. Approved by PCI (Pharmacy Council of India) & AICTE (All India Council of Technical Education), the faculty boasts of highly qualified and experienced teachers, who are the mainstay to achieve and sustain a high level of academics as well as research. Approved by the Pharmacy Council of India, AICTE, UGC, NAAC and certified by ISO 7 MoUs signed with the industry to promote research, student training and placement Lectures by practitioner teachers from the industry State-of-the-art lab with sophisticated instruments Career guidance and mock Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) for students We strongly believe in the code of ethics of Pharmacy Council of India, in relation to the community and shall act as an integral part of health care team. Students can uphold the laws and standards governing the profession, also strive to perfect and enlarge the knowledge to contribute to the advancement of pharmacy and public health, contribute best for pharmaceutical care and counselling of patients. We value innovation, learning, diversity, knowledge advancement, research and professionalism. DDU provide warm environment for research by government and non-government funding and also motivate for inter and multidisciplinary research thrust areas. Research at the Faculty of Pharmacy, DDU is much more than just academics. It deals with the real life issues that affect patients and pharmacists.
