The Faculty of Medicine, BUU has vision to be a Faculty of Medicine of Medicine for travel and tourism excellency with international stand el and tourism excellency with international standard. Our missions are fours aspects; 1) produce medical graduates and medical personnel 2) research and provide academic services 3) provide medical services 4) participate and be socially responsible We believe that the good doctor has been cultivated through the learning process , leadership development and knowledge-based research. The reason why our medical staff is knowledgeable and have specialize in various fields. We initiate the multidisciplinary approach for take care patients and collaborate with the community to enhance their quality of health. We have commitment to use King Bhumibol’s philosophy of sufficiency economy to encourage students and staffs to be a good, intelligent and happy doctor. We have collaboration with good partners to develop medical graduates effectively such as; The Abhaibhubajhr hospital in Prachinburi, Somdech Phra Pinklao Hospital Naval Medical Department, Bangkok and Queen Savang Vadhana memorial hospital in Sriracha, Chon Buri . We are proud to present that our medical students have received the royal award of student in higher education level in 2015 and the last 2 years . Along the way, we will help our students develop to their professional on standardization and emotional intelligence. In the near future, the faculty of Medicine, BUU will be received budget support from the government for building and expanding our services to 500 beds hospital. The main objective is to be the teaching hospital for serve adequately for Medical and Health science student in practice. The Faculty of Medicine, Burapha University, is the government medical school in the Eastern Regional of Thailand. It was established in September 2002 as a part of Bangsaen Campus. Its medical curriculum has been approved by the office of the Ministry of Education and the Medical Council of Thailand in December 2006. The first group of 32 students was accepted as pre-medical students in June 2007. Nowadays, the numbers of medical student are increasing from 32 to 48 per year after approval medical curriculum from the Medical Council Committees in 2010. ...view more
