With vision to establish & develop world class self-reliant institutes for imparting Medical, Paramedical, Technical, Management, Science and all allied education at under-graduate, post-graduate & doctoral levels of the global competence, Mahagujara ctoral levels of the global competence, Mahagujarat Medical Society Nadiad has established Maganbhai Adenwala Mahagujarat University – MAM University under Gujrat State Private University Act -2022 (Amendment Act No 7 of 2022) from 1stJune 2022. Presently the MAM University has couple of Faculties like Faculty of Ayurveda – J S Ayurveda Mahavidhyalay, Faculty of Nursing- Dinsha Patel College of Nursing, Faculty of Information Science & Management & Faculty of Paramedical Science. At present the University offers Under Graduate, Post graduate, Ph.D., Fellowship Programmes, Certificate courses, PG Diploma and Diploma Courses at various Faculties. Students, who passed 10+2 or equivalent, shall be eligible to enrol for B.C.A. programme. Basic level of understanding and general aptitude in the information technology will entitle the students to pursue and excel in B.C.A. The programme is structured to gradually improve the capability of the students in the field of computers and information technology. It also attracts young minds to the potentially rich & employable field of computer applications. The Curriculum and the Syllabus for Bachelor of Computer Applications Degree Programme has designed by covering all the aspects of latest technology in Computer Science. The duration of the BCA Programme is three years. The historical city of Nadiad has not only been known for its rich heritage in spiritual, literature and industrial activities but also now coming up as educational hub. In the field of education, a need has been felt to establish a world class heath care university, which can provide health services by Indian medicine way like Ayurveda as well as with modern concepts too. With an aim to pursue excellence in teaching and learning and to be a leading research-intensive University and to innovate, strengthen and enhance its position in domestic and international higher education field, especially in the health sciences fraternity, Maganbhai Adenwala Mahagujarat University – MAM University has been established by Mahagujarat Medical Society Nadiad vide Gujarat State Private University Act 2009 on 1st day June 2022. The objective of establishing of MAM University would be to expand knowledge of Indian System of Medicine, its development and analysis through education, research, extension, education, services and effective exhibition as envisaged. This has sought to be achieved by undertaking J. S. Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya as its constituent institute which has its own very good prestige since more than 83 years in the field of Ayurveda. It offers Under Graduate (B.A.M.S), Post Graduate (Ayurved Vachaspati), Ph.D. (Ayurveda Varidhi),Certificates Courses and Value Added Courses. With a view to offer the student a platform and tools to develop requisite skills to become a good health service provider, MAM University has undertaken Dinsha Patel College of Nursing as its constituent institute. It offers PG – M.Sc., UG – B.Sc., Post Basic B.Sc. and Diploma in Nursing like GNM & ANM. MAM University is a place where student is at the center of every action plan, leading to all-round development including inculcating him/her as social and ethical health service provider. The leadership team at MAM University is responsible for articulating the vision of the University, defining the benchmarks and goals, and overseeing implementation and achievements.
