It is said that well begun is half done with the determination to scale great heights with persistent and relentless efforts, the journey of the Department of Commerce started functioning from 2019 with B.Com. (General) and B.Com. (Logistics) program th B.Com. (General) and B.Com. (Logistics) program. The department added M.Com., B.Com. (Professional Accounting) and Honors with extra credits in its feather in the year 2021. The curriculum of the department is highly applicable and market oriented. The department prefers multi-dimensional teaching pedagogy such as learner- centric, lectures, tutorials, ICT enabled, seminars, workshops, Project based, continuous assessment and comprehensive and realistic evaluation, industry interaction. The main aim of the department is to offer superior quality, affordable and professional education with view to build graduates and postgraduates with high ethical, leadership qualities and develop students’ personalities in character and mind. The most important asset of any civic society is its skilled manpower and therefore the curriculum focuses on the development of professionals in the fields of academics, businesses and research as per the market and society. The department is constantly striving to offer relevant and updated courses with practical dimension to provide dynamic business environment to equipping the students with appropriate skills and ability to take up new challenges to fulfill their dreams.
