It is a proud privilege on my part to say something about the faculty of Arts and Social sciences of Gono Bishwabidyalay. It has been established with the ideals of human resource development of newly liberated country Bangladesh. It contains the spi liberated country Bangladesh. It contains the spirit of liberation war 1971, that shook the world for nine months .At the beginning of the University the curriculum was very elaborate with spirit of Equity fraternity along with the Technological development. Its curriculum was reshaped to meet the need of the changing society of the modern state. Basics as Language, Mathematics and Technology. This is one of the largest faculty that study state language Bengali , English as second language ,Law and Ethics , Economics and Business administration, Sociology and social work, Political Science and Governance , Environmental Science and Liberation war of Bangladesh. The faculty has opened up opportunities for ethnic communities and foreign learners. The teachers of the faculties not only maintain routine classroom activities but also look after the overall problems of the student both male and female. Extra academics works like sports are encouraged to make the student healthy and energetic. We are proud of our student’s dedication to personal development as well as social development.
