About Agricultural Economics Society of Ethiopia (AESE)
The Agricultural Economics Society of Ethiopia (AESE) held its annual conference on 27 March 2015 at the Ethiopian Institute of Agricultural Research Meeting Hall in Addis Ababa. The event was co-sponsored by IFPRI-ESSP. Approximately 40 people atten sored by IFPRI-ESSP. Approximately 40 people attended and were rewarded with presentations and discussions on a diverse range of topics including women’s empowerment, agricultural technology adoption and impact on income, land rights protection, productivity and efficiencies in smallholder production. There were contributions from: ESSP/IFPRI, EIAR, Addis Ababa University, REDD+ and AESE members, with a special Guest of Honor – Professor Belay Kassa, Ex-President of Haramaya University.
