Epsilon Pi Tau (EPT)

Epsilon Pi Tau (EPT) is the Leading International Honor Society for Technology. Epsilon Pi Tau recognizes academic excellence of students in fields devoted to the study of technology and the preparation of practitioners for the technology professions on of practitioners for the technology professions. Epsilon Pi Tau also extends the honor of membership and advancement activities to outstanding practitioners in the technology professions, scholars with exemplary research interests in technology in society and/or persons who have significantly supported or advanced technology professions. All prospective members from these groups must meet Epsilon Pi Tau professional and leadership performance criteria. In addition to a recognition program that extends through members' careers and beyond, Epsilon Pi Tau continually seeks to serve, support, and strengthen the technology professions through publications, conferences, thought leadership, and alliances with corporations, professional associations, government agencies, and nongovernmental organizations. Founded at The Ohio State University in 1929, Epsilon Pi Tau is the premier academic and professional honors group for technology programs in higher education, workforce development programs, and professionals in practice. Epsilon Pi Tau has provided honor and distinction to members, institutions, programs, and individuals throughout the world for more than 90 years. Members have resided in every state of the United States and in 49 other nations. Epsilon Pi Tau has inducted 90,000 plus members since its inception. Epsilon Pi Tau activities occur primarily through our active chapters located in five regions throughout the world. Founded in 1925, ACHS sets standards for organizational excellence and scholastic eligibility and is the nation’s only certifying agency for collegiate honor societies.
