The Institution was established in 1997 with the intention to help needy students to attain a degree or a diploma in Engineering from different branches. As the present system of education is not fulfilling the desire of the youth according to their illing the desire of the youth according to their choice of study as well as Study Centres/Collaborators are also not authorized to provide Distance education for Technical streams. However, Engineering’s Training Centre has been referred to as Empanelled Training Associate or ETA under the University-Industry Inter-linkage Centre (UILC) of Arunachal University of Studies which is established in accordance with the University Grants Commission’s communication vide D.O.No. F.1-14/2015(CPP- II) dated 29 September 2015 as per MOU between University-Industry Inter-linkage Centre, The Arunachal University of STUDIES, Arunachal Pradesh and ETC Group of Institutions, Thrissur, Kerala. Engineer's Training Centre is one of the Top College in Thrissur. It's Affiliated with The University of Karnataka State Open University. Since the current education system does not meet the wishes of young people with regard to their choice of study, study centers/associations are not allowed to offer distance learning for technical courses either. However, the engineering training center was named an empaneled training associate or ETA under the University of Arunachal's University-Industry Inter-linkage Center (UILC), established according to a notice from the D.O. University Scholarships Committee NO.F.1-14/2015 (PPC-II) of 29 September 2015 in accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding between University-Industry Interconnection Centre, Arunachal University of Studies, Arunachal Pradesh and ETC Group of Institutions, Thrissur, Kerala. Accreditations and Ranking: Engineer's Training Centre is affiliated with the University of Karnataka State Open University and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Govt. of Kerala. Recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC). Courses offered: Engineer's Training Centre offers Undergraduate Programs (B.Tech.) in Civil Engineering, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Diploma in Civil Engineering, Diploma in Electronics Engineering, Diploma in Automobile Engineering, Diploma in Computer Science Engineering (CSE).
