Dr.S.R.J. College of Education is a self-financing College running for the past 16 years successfully by Sri Raghava Janaki Ammal (Alias) Dr.S.R.J. Educational & Charitable Trust , Thanjavur. The Academic Activities of the College is administered by emic Activities of the College is administered by the Vice-Chairman & one of the Founding Trustee Thiru. Rajesh.B and this College was approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE),New Delhi in the year 2006, was recognized by Govt. of Tamilnadu and was first affiliated to the Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirapalli in the academic year 2006-2007 and after the formation of TamilNadu Teachers Education University, Chennai during 2008, our College has come under the Purview of the present Tamilnadu Teachers Education University from 2008-09 onwards. This college offers B.Ed., programme which Consists of Theory & Practical with the course subjects such as Tamil, English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biological Science, Computer Science, History, Commerce & Economics.
