Pharmaceutical care is the direct, responsible provision of medication-related care for the purpose of achieving definite outcomes that improve a patient’s quality of life. The college management is devoted to provide a challenging and fulfilling learning experience to our students. The highly motivated and well qualified staff forms the corner stone and pride of the institution. Our faculty are progressively incorporating newer pedagogical strategies to equip every learner with contemporary knowledge and skills. The College with its infrastructure and facilities is at the student’s disposal to help them achieve a career as an accomplished pharmacist. The need for qualified pharmacists in the present context made the Chemists and Druggists of Tamilnadu to take a momentous decision on the Ist December 1979 to establish a College of Pharmacy in Chennai. The entire pharmaceutical trade in Tamilnadu rose to the occasion to offer their co-operation. The sustained efforts taken by the Educational Trust brought the idea into fruition within a short span of time and the College of Pharmacy was inaugurated on 13th July 1980 by the then Minister of Health Government of Tamilnadu, Dr. H.V.
