DIET IS THE REALISATION OF ONE OF THE FIVE OMPONENTS OF A CENTRALLY SPONSORED SCHEME NAMELY RESTRUCTURING AND REORGANISATION OF TEACHER EDUCATION, APPROVED IN OCTOBER 1987.
