The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (DEEE) was established in 2013 as part of the institute. It aims to produce engineers with a strong foundation in electrical engineering and electronics. The department focuses on providing qua ectronics. The department focuses on providing quality education, training, research, and internships at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels. It emphasises the design aspects of electrical and electronic systems. The faculty consists of experienced teachers and staff members specialising in fields like instrumentation, control systems, power systems, power electronics, and energy systems. The department offers personalised teaching, well-equipped labs, and workshops. Graduate and undergraduate programmes promote original discovery, research, and analysis, aiming to develop competent and innovative professionals. The department also focuses on academic research in sustainable energy development. In 2014, it introduced a new M. Tech. Programme in power system engineering and a diploma (polytechnic) in electrical and electronics engineering. The Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department has its own library in addition to the well-equipped central library at RNTU. It houses textbooks, reference books, and study materials necessary for the Electrical Engineering programme, along with a collection of books on electrical and electronics engineering from reputable national and international publishers. Faculty members and students regularly utilise the library for their reference, learning, and research needs.
