College of Ship Technology commenced its operation at Puthucode in 2007. College is affiliated to Indian Mar ucode in 2007. College is affiliated to Indian Maritime University (Govt. of India) for B.Sc. Programme. College of Ship Technology is affiliated to Indian Maritime University (a Central University), G.O.I. For conducting Graduate courses in Ship Building & Repairing. College is only private institute whose location is close to the maritime zones of Chennai, Mangalore, Cochin which have big shipyard business. Managing Trustee has promoted one of the largest private shipbuilding and Repair Company in India (M/s. Tebma Shipyards Ltd). Only Shipbuilding & Repair course in India offered by people with experience and expertise in promoting a shipyard company and running the business since 1984) Capabilities of building offshore vessels, tug boats, dredgers, pilot launchers and frigates.
