Mr. I. Krishna Pillai, Founder and Chairman of Cape Group of Institutions is the Promoter and Managing Director of Cape Infrastructure. A civil engineer with over 20 years of rich entrepreneurial experience in the wind energy and Infrastructure secto rience in the wind energy and Infrastructure sector, Mr. Pillai felt the need to make quality education affordable to the larger masses, which led to him establishing the Sri Vinayaga Educational Trust, which runs both Cape Institute of Technology since 2001 and Cape Polytechnic since 2007 For more than two decades, Cape has demonstrated excellence in imparting quality education by catering to the long-felt need for a world-class education centre in the southern tip of the country.
