Established in accordance with the Odisha Act 01 of 2020, C. V. Raman Global University, Odisha (CGU, Odisha) introduces students to new and innovative ways of learning. Raman College of Engineering (CVRCE) which began its transformative journey in 1997. It grew in record time imparting technical education with a larger purpose and impact through world-class laboratories, research-intensive learning pedagogy, unmatched Centres of Excellence and unhindered connectivity to some of the finest libraries in the world. CGU, Odisha offers 18 Undergraduate, 17 Postgraduate, 11 Ph.D. and 01Integrated M.A. with Ph.D. programmes. We follow the ‘Choice Based Credit System (CBCS)’ to define the structure of the curriculum. A credit transfer option is available to students on successful completion of the courses that are available on the SWAYAM platform. Since we follow a ‘learning by doing’ approach, regular laboratory classes and projects are embedded into the curriculum. We also rely on research to enable a high-quality learning experience.
