Our College holds a good repute in the field of science education since its establishment (June 1965). In the competitive environment of higher education and scientific research, this college has maintained its repute firmly and perpetually and made tained its repute firmly and perpetually and made progressive development in the field of science. It has been the attitude of the institute to go for novel academic experiments to achieve level best outputs. It is a matter of great pride and privilege of the college that thousands of students have built their career so far there are numerous prestigious alumni are assets of the college. Present Home Minister Shri Amit Shah is one of them. The institute is enriched with well developed physical as well as academic infrastructures. It has specious classrooms, smart-multimedia class rooms, well-equipped science laboratories, Digital English Language Laboratory, prosperous library and parking facilities and other amenities. Our college provide well disciplined educational and competitive atmosphere that encourage students to exhibit their potentiality and so they can sharp and shape themselves to give their best to the society. Moreover, as Gujarat University being situated in Ahmedabad itself, students studying at our college have relatively easy access to various university facilities. Our college was awarded as Best College by Government of Gujarat. In the year 2007 with dedication, determination and discipline our college had received B grade (2.08 CGPA) through NAAC Accreditation. Our faculties are valuable assets, highly qualified with majority of them are M.Phil/Ph.D. Some faculties are perusing research work for their Ph. D. The college has provided them space to associate with their post doctoral research work. As a Principal, I always believe in planning, preparation and execution with all the efforts and cooperation from my management, staff members, students and well wishers. We are aiming to do the best for the society and nation.
