Established in 1968, as a registered charitable trust has been constantly striving for the upliftment of rural society through the education. VBT always stands for national character building and gives full attention to tradition, culture and ideals with full awareness of modern scientific and technical development of this century and our march to the 21 VBT is located at Wadhwan City, Taluka Head Quarter at about 6 Km, from Surendranagar and is situated on scenic banks of the river Bhogava on Ahmedabad-Viramgam-Surendranagar State Highway . The town has glorious historic and cultural heritage. The ancient princely city well known for temples, step wells and number of water ponds is surrounded by a monumental stone castle and architectural arched gates. Eminent poets, literal, freedom fighters and philosophers have bestowed an honorable status upon the city. A fast developing vast industrial belts, now on the banks of the river extending up to Surendranagar has geared up the developments process of this drought prone area and the aspiration of the people C. U. Shah College of Pharmacy & Research (CCPR) was established by Vardhman Bharti Trust. The board of management is constituted according to the norms laid down by the State Government and the All India Council For Technical Education (AICTE). Institute is Approved by P.C.I To promulgate educational, social, cultural and spiritual awakening for all round development of the students. To harness, nurture and explore the potential of youth to make them responsible citizens of tomorrow. To provide impetus on inputs to enhance the employability of students on a global platform. The vision and mission statements are communicated to students, teachers, staff and other stakeholders through the student charter, college prospectus, college website and display boards in the College campus. Further, the vision and mission of the college find reflection in institutional activities. The Institute endeavours to work towards a leading position amongst premier Pharmacy Institutes and health sector in India. To cater to the needs and demands in the field of education, research in pharmacy, Industry and health sector by offering Pharmaceutical edu-cation and development of diverse attributes of personality spectrum to face the global challenges.
