ASPEE College of Nutrition and Community Science, was established in November 17, 1981. Two undergraduate degree programs are offered by the college namely, B.Sc. (Hons.) Community Science and B. Sc (Hons) Food Nutrition and Dietetics. M. Sc (Comm (Hons) Food Nutrition and Dietetics. M. Sc (Community Science) degree program is offered by the college in the following four disciplines –  Food and Nutrition  Human Development and Family Studies  Resource Management and Consumer Sciences  Extension Education & Communication Management. Ph.D. (Community Science) is also offered in two departments namely,  Food & Nutrition  Extension Education and Communication Management To serve the rural communities by technological interventions in various areas of Nutrition and community science viz. health and food security, human and non human resource development and management, judicious utilization of natural resources for preparation of functional and protective clothing.  Holistic development of students by developing opportunities in higher education, employment and entrepreneurship development Career development of faculty members by providing opportunities for higher level training programmes in different areas of specialization  Recognition of degree programs offered by institution for creating job avenues in various health industries as well as in hospitals, Gujarat administrative and civil services etc.  Transfer of new technologies related to different areas of community science for raising standard of living of rural communities. Holistic development of community through integrated activities of teaching, research, extension and transfer of improved technologies in different areas of Nutrition and Community Science Development of quality human resources through education in the field of Nutrition and Community Science  Conducting research in thrust areas of Nutrition and Community Science for rural and urban community  Transfer of technology through training and awareness programmes to community  Providing advisory and counselling to the students of Nutrition and Community Science for higher education, competitive examinations and job opportunities The ASPEE College of Nutritional Science and College of Home Science and Food Technology at Sardar Krushinagar (Dantiwada), Gujarat Now renamed ASPEE College of Home Science it was set-up on 17th November 1981 to offer Research Programmes in the field of Nutrition and Extension. The Nutritional Programme tackles the enormous problem of Malnutrition, Immunization, Child Development, Anemia in Pregnancy and other health hazards.
