Amity School of Communication is one of the leading media schools in the country that offers a comprehensive media program at UG, PG and Ph.D levels. Amity School of Communication aims to prepare the students for the modern media industry. Here, the students are exposed to academics and practical knowledge required to excel in this area of work. Students are trained to meet expectations of print, digital, broadcast, radio, advertisement, public relations, and event management industry. To achieve this, we invite professionals from the industry at a regular intervals, so that the students can learn from the experience of experts. We also organize frequent visits to various media firms, where our students are able to get first-hand experience. The students in ASCO are trained under the guidance of the highly-experienced faculty members who are experts in their respective fields. ASCO also keeps in consideration the changing pace of the media industry and organizes regular workshops, trainings and guest lectures by industry experts so that students are kept updated with the modern phase of media industry. Amity School of Communication has established Centre for Detection of Fake News and Disinformation at Amity University, Madhya Pradesh. This centre remains updated with regards to technology for detection of fake news/videos/audios/pictures on social media/print/ electronic media. It also liaises with agencies like Google News Initiative, Poynter with know-how and methodology for detection of news. The centre mainly trains the faculties and students of AUMP in general, and students of ASCO in particular with regards to the technology associated with the subject.
