The College has been approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and affiliated to Kerala University for Health Sciences (KUHS). The faculties with their rich academic and professional experience form the backbone of the activities. The experience in clinical side for the Pharm.D & M.Pharm students is offered at our Kims Al Shifa Hospital Pvt. Ltd. Which is a renowned ISO 14001: 2004 & 9001: 2008 Certified Tertiary Level Referral 450 bedded Hospital in Perinthalmanna, Malappuram District. Founded in 2002 in the serene village of Kizhattur, Malappuram District, Perinthalmanna, Kerala, Al Shifa College of Pharmacy began its journey with a B.Pharm course. Today, we proudly offer Pharm.D, Pharm.D (Post Baccalaureate), M.Pharm in eight branches, and D.Pharm under the visionary leadership of Dr. P. Unneen, Managing Trustee of Shifa Medicare Trust. Our college is nestled within a lush 55-acre campus, providing a tranquil environment conducive to focused education. Rankings and Achievements: Since 2017, we have consistently been ranked first in Kerala under the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) released by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), and we have been placed between 51 and 75 at the national level. This reflects our robust infrastructure, strong faculty, active research programs, and dynamic co-curricular and extracurricular activities. Facilities and Campus: Our expansive campus is among the largest in South India and one of the top three in India. We offer over 20 laboratories, a language lab, two seminar halls, a 1000-seat auditorium cum indoor stadium, a 250-seat auditorium, and exclusive R&D labs. These facilities significantly exceed statutory requirements, providing our students with unparalleled resources. Separate hostel facilities for both boys and girls are available on campus, with the girls’ hostel being partially air-conditioned. Faculty Excellence: Our faculty members are encouraged and supported to pursue PhDs and engage in research projects. With the highest number of PhD-qualified faculty, our college surpasses statutory body requirements. We also support our faculty in attending seminars and presenting research papers, recognizing their achievements and contributions. Student Support and Placements: We offer a fee waiver scheme where top-ranked students receive a 50% scholarship in tuition fees for the subsequent year, extending to final-year students who join our postgraduate programs. Our training and placement cell ensures that nearly 50% of our students secure positions in reputed organizations annually.
