Explore what an Alliant education can mean for you Alliant International University is part of Arist Education System, a global system of universities focused on health and human sciences. University management responsibility is delegated to the President, who is supported by the President’s Cabinet. Faculty governance structures directly involve academic leaders in all aspects of University management, including student recruitment, selection, monitoring, evaluation and curriculum development, and faculty recruitment and performance monitoring. Policy recommendations often originate from faculty committees or student representatives. University staff members are represented by an elected Staff Council, a body that has both campus and systemwide officers. Alliant International University is a private for-profit university[1] with its main campus in San Diego, five additional campuses in California (San Francisco, Los Angeles, Irvine, Sacramento, and Fresno) and one campus in Phoenix, Arizona. Its enrollment is approximately 4,000 students, of whom 95% are graduate students. At each campus, students are represented by a Student Government Association, a self-governing body that enhances student welfare, student life and educational quality. Via a systemwide University Student Government Association, students are actively involved in a wide variety of University governance issues. We provide a professional school environment in which you learn from a faculty of seasoned working professionals and receive practical training while still in school through a combination of internships, practica, consulting, and community service projects. Alliant students contribute many hours of community service each year as part of their professional education.
