The biggest challenge faced by the educators of today is to prepare students for the challenges for a globalised world. Students of these days face a world that continually demands new knowledge and abilities. I wish our pupils to develop valuable life skills and become more independent, resilient and confident individuals who are able to come out of their comfort zone Alshifa College of Paramedical Science is a symbol of progressive and quality education. Our motto, “Lighted to Enlighten” captures the essence of our spirit. The college is recognized by Govt of Kerala, Directorate of Medical Education, Kerala Paramedical Council and affiliated to University of Calicut and Kerala University of Health Science (Medical University). Our college is gradually stepping in to the milestones of development. The students of this college excel in both curricular and extracurricular activities our results in KUHS, Calicut University and DME examinations is the best in Kerala. The college started Functioning with the approval of the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi & the Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council, the Al Shifa College of Nursing is affiliated to the University of Calicut Kerala . The Al Shifa College of Nursing has been recognized as a Minority Educational Institution by the National commission for Minority Education Institutions, Government of India in the year 2008. In 2010, the College affiliated under the Health University of Kerala, ie, Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur. The college is equipped with the most modern facilities and exceptional infrastructure, needed for the sound education and practice in the nursing profession. Highly qualified faculty handle the theory classes in Pre-clinical subjects and the students utilize the full fledged laboratories for their practical learning. The clinical experience needed for students is offered at our KIMS Al Shifa super specialty hospital.
