A.J.College of Science and Technology was established in 1995 at Thonnakkal. It is the fulfilment of a cherished desire of Dr.M.A.Abdul Jabbar, who was keen to start an institution of higher learning. Abdul Razak Memorial Charitable Trust (ARMCT) Abdul Razak Memorial Charitable Trust (ARMCT) was founded by the late Dr.M.A.Abdul Jabbar, a noted philanthropist, and visionary. The Government of Kerala sanctioned a self financing college to the trust and the University of Kerala granted affiliation. Presently the college offers 11 Degree and 7 Post Graduate courses. To be an academic centre of excellence in quality, research, teaching, learning and education. To create and foster a learning environment that enables students to be leaders with commitment and sensitivity towards the larger society.
