UITIC's main activity is to organise an International Technical Conference which tackles the latest technical problems: automatic sewing, computerised management, new materials, quality, training, design, etc...
It is the most prestigious meeting of experts at an international level and is attended, on average, by more than 400 technicians. There is a simultaneous translation service in a multitude of languages (minimum of 3; average 5).
With 106 abstracts received, UITIC (International Union of Shoe Industry Technicians) and Assomac, organizers of the 21st UITIC International Footwear Congress, are proud to announce the success of their call for papers for the upcoming Congress.
From 19 to 22 September 2023, more than 300 participants, footwear brands as well as leaders of the industry, will met in Milan and Vigevano to discuss a topic that is critical to the future of the footwear industry:
“Moving Towards Sustainability Through Innovation”
These abstracts have been sent by renowned experts from 21 countries such as Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Germany, United Kingdom, Canada, Mexico, India, China and Hong Kong.
The extremely high technical and scientific quality of the spoken presentations and the visual posters received will allow to showcase innovative and operational solutions in all areas of Corporate Social Responsibility. This augurs very well for the event!
The next stage involves Françoise Nicolas, President of the Congress Scientific Committee, and its team, making the final selection of the oral and visual presentations.
