Spread across 19 states in India. Narayana College of Nursing, Nellore was established by Narayana Educational Society in the year 2002 which offers B.Sc. Nursing (4 Years), M.Sc.Nursing (2 Years) with five Speciality, Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing (2 years) and Ph.D. The courses are recognized by Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi, AP Nurses and Midwives, ANM and Health Visitor Council, Vijayawada, A.P and affiliated to Dr. YSR University of Health Sciences Located on a sprawling campus at Nellore on the Vijaywada-Chennai National Highway , it is well-connected by road, air and rail routes. Chennai and Tirupati airports are a mere two hours drive from the campus. The institute has ICT enabled lecture halls,Seminar halls well-equipped laboratories with simulation models.The classrooms are well-furnished, spacious with proper ventilation. There are 13 lecture halls and one Ph.D. cell, equipped with audiovisual aids, and the conference hall has 25 seats and is equipped with ICT facilities. A smart classroom with 100 seating capacity is available. HOD rooms and faculty rooms for each department are available with the department library. We have established labs for all specialties and additional labs for (Psychiatric Nursing lab and a Pediatric Nursing Lab) which are uniquely intensifying the skills for UG,PG.A language lab is equipped with A.V aids for the development of regional languages and communication skills. There is an auditorium with a capacity of 500 seats and is used for cultural events and programs organized by the Students Nurses Association and National Social Services units. An Exam cell is available to carry out the examinations. A campus-wide WIFI network is provided with full access for all staff to access online services,and CCTV cameras are installed at strategic locations for safety of staff and students. Power management is ensured uninterrupted power supply and maintenance of electrical assets. Solar panels, Elevators, Air-conditioners, Fire-fighting Equipment, and Water-coolers are avaialble and periodic maintenance is ensured.
