Jethiba K. Patel Arts College and B.A. Patel and D.B. Vyas Commerce College, Ruppur-Chanasma was established in June 1989 under its pioneer President, Padmshree Dr. K.K. Patel, the Chairman, NIRMA Ltd. Awarded with 2(F) and 12(B), the Institution wor . Awarded with 2(F) and 12(B), the Institution works with specific Vision and Mission to provide Higher Education to youth of rural, surrounding area to make comprehensive development by Educational and Extra-curricular activities. In the First Cycle NAAC has accredited our Institution B+ grade with 76% in 2007. In the Second Cycle, our Institution has been accredited B grade with 2.41 CGPA by NAAC in 2015. Our College has been twice awarded “Two Stars” from GSIRF (Gujarat State Institutional Ranking Framework). Our College follows the latest CBSC system introduced by HNG University, Patan in 2010. From 2018, the Finishing School Programme has been started by the College under the supervision of KCG to enhance students’ Life and Employability Skills. Under SCOPE, the students develop their English Proficiency Skills by giving online Exam. N.S.S. and N.C.C. are the pivotal pillars of our College. Under N.S.S. various programmes related to Social Awareness are organized frequently. Blood Donation Camp, Community development & extension activities and Seven Days special camp are organized regularly under N.S.S. activity. Thalessemia test is the routine activity for the new entrant Students of the College. Under N.C.C. various programmes related to Nationalism- Fit India, Disaster Management, and Run for Unity are conducted from time to time. The Central Library is the heart of our college which is computerized and well-equipped with Inflibnet and SOUL Software. The Principal of an Institution should always be honest, fair, objective, supportive, protective and law abiding.  He has to chalk out a policy and plan to execute the vision and mission.  He should monitor, manage and lead the administration of the institution and take remedial measures / actions based on the stakeholder’s feedback. The Institution always remained eager and active for the overall development of the Students. Various Seminars, Workshops and Expert lectures related to Competitive Examination are organized frequently under Career Counseling Cell-UDISHA, an initiative of K.C.G. Besides, excelled academic pursuits, our Students have also made noticeable achievements in Sports and Cultural activities of various inter-collegiate levels. The learned faculty members are energetic and highly qualified. The Management and the Institute always encourages them all to take part into Seminars, Workshops and Research works. The administrative staff is highly Students’ oriented in terms of co-operation. Various Grants from U.G.C., Central/State Government, RUSA and K.C.G. are properly utilized to cater the need of the Students. The College is well equipped with academic atmosphere and physical infrastructure. The academic atmosphere of the Institute is conducive for rural Students to develop their talent along with bringing out their inner potential. It’s my pleasure and privilege to have kind support from the management and sincere co-operation from qualified and experienced staff. Its my pleasure and privilege to mention that recently I have been given two more additional responsibilities of our Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, Patan regarding In-charge Registrar and In-charge Officer, Vadali (SK) Sub Centre of our University.
