Established in 5th July 2010, Government College of Physiotherapy, Dahod is considered as one of the premier institutes of Physiotherapy in Gujarat. It is recognized by the Gujarat State Council For Physiotherapy (GSCPT). The College offers Bachel hysiotherapy (GSCPT). The College offers Bachelor of Physiotherapy Program, a 4 ½ years undergraduate course, including compulsory six months of clinical internship, and involving the science of physical movement aimed at preventing disease and disability. Physiotherapy has evolved as an important component of modern health care. It focuses on helping people affected by injury, illness or disability through movement restoration and exercise, manual therapy, education and advice. They maintain health for people of all ages, helping patients to manage pain, prevent disease, maintain and maximize their physical strength, function, and overall well-being by improving their activities of daily living. Separate hostels present for boys and girls, inside the premises of the campus. Institute has a Canteen & Mess Hall which serves quality food be it breakfast, lunch or dinner so students don't have to eat junk food from outside. Practicals are held at college as well as at Civil Hospital, Dahod where students learn and practice various Physiotherapy Techniques. College is equipped with large playground for sports and a Gymnasium for fulfilling recreational and fitness needs of the students.
