The 'Seth Girdhari Lal Bihani Sanatan Dharma Shikshan Sansthan' is a progressive institution established with the sacred commitment of nurturing the comprehensive development of undergraduate and postgraduate students. The college is situated on Nati graduate students. The college is situated on National Highway-62 in Sri Ganganagar for nearly six decades. Founded in 1951 as a higher secondary school, it progressed to an intermediate college in 1957, a degree college in 1959, and finally attained the status of a postgraduate college in July 1966. The journey of development continued with the introduction of postgraduate programs in science in 1967, law in 1969, and postgraduate diploma courses in computer applications in 1999. The institution expanded further in 2003 by adding postgraduate classes in chemistry, botany, and computer science. Subsequently, in 2004, programs in zoology, mathematics, and biotechnology were introduced, followed by physics in 2015. In 2016, undergraduate classes in the arts stream were initiated. Recognizing the significance of information technology, the college established the Department of Computer Science in 1999. The department's main objective is to provide high-quality computer education to students. The computer labs are equipped with state-of-the-art computers from brands like Compaq, Packard Bell, Zenith, and HCL. Internet facilities are also available for students actively engaged in their studies. The college's motto, "Vidya Dharmen Shobhate," reflects the institution's commitment to promoting excellence in academics and fostering an environment of peace and discipline. The visionary philanthropist and educationist, Daanveer Seth Girdhari Lal Ji Bihani, laid the foundation of this institution in 1951, driven by boundless compassion, a love for education, and an unwavering desire for the holistic development of society. In line with the ideals of Daanveer Seth Girdhari Lal Ji Bihani, the college has continuously progressed and expanded its academic offerings.
