GIDC Degree Engineering College (GDEC) is a venture of Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation established in 2012 under Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode and managed by GIDC Education Society (GES). Institute is approved by All India Council (GES). Institute is approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to the Gujarat Technological University (GTU).. The institute has qualified, experienced faculty and staff to take up the responsibility of knowledge transfer, excellent infrastructure in environment friendly atmosphere, fully equipped laboratories with latest technology that helps the students to grow in current competitive era and become industry ready. GIDC constituted the education society, namely GIDC Education Societyâ and has been registered as Society under the Society Registration Act 1860 under Registration No. GUJ: 1769: Gandhinagar dated 14/07/2010 and also registered as Charitable Trust under the Bombay Public Trust Act 1950 vide Registration No. F: 1723: Gandhinagar dated 14/07/2010. About GESHome / Institute / About GES In 2009, the Government of Gujarat passed the resolution and invited applications from various Industrial Houses/Companies, Private Educational Trust/Organisation to set up technical institutions in the state under Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode. Under this scheme, Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC), Gandhinagar has been scrutinised by the Government of Gujarat as a partnering organization to develop the technical institutions in the state. GIDC constituted the education society, namely GIDC Education Societyâ and has been registered as Society under the Society Registration Act 1860 under Registration No. GUJ: 1769: Gandhinagar dated 14/07/2010 and also registered as Charitable Trust under the Bombay Public Trust Act 1950 vide Registration No. F: 1723: Gandhinagar dated 14/07/2010. To promote horizontal and vertical networking. To improve the quality of technical education with socio-economic and environmental needs of the industries and the society at large. GES is aiming to work without any distinction of caste, creed, race, religion and socio economic status within the region of Navsari, Gujarat. It has focused its efforts to improve standards of living through education and vocational training programs, as it feels that these are particular areas in which the region is deficient. GES is aimed to explore undergraduate engineering education in Navsari district for the students with the tools they need to succeed professionally, including a comprehensive subject knowledge based on four years of rigorous classroom study, hands-on involvement in academic and industry research projects and practical experience through internships in industry.
