The Digital Innovation Group pushes the boundaries of computational analysis in the humanities by developing and deploying innovative research software and analytic methods. To develop new tools to support HPS researchers in processing and analyzi support HPS researchers in processing and analyzing their data. To contribute to the development of a computational research system for history and philosophy of science. To create new educational resources, opportunities, and experiences for students in computer science and the history and philosophy of science. DigInG Researchers deploy our research tools and workflows to address a wide range of problems in the humanities, from a computational perspective. DigInG researchers come from both the sciences and humanities, and work closely with DigInG Developers to improve and extend our tools and methods. Our researchers are expected to develop and address their own research questions, based on their interests, and have the opportunity to acquire skills in computer science.
