Devang Patel Institute of Advance Technology and Research (DEPSTAR) is a constituent of CHARUSAT. The institute is managed through a think tank of technocrats, administrators, scientists and engineers, educationalists, businessmen, stakeholders and o , educationalists, businessmen, stakeholders and other well-wishers from all parts of the world. DEPSTAR is patronized by IPCO Industries, headed by Philanthropist and Industrialist Shri Devang Patel. The institute envisions being a forerunner in teaching and research in advanced technologies. For this, in years to come, it will be an institute with advanced infrastructure, distinguished faculty, networking with global institutes and implementing most modern processes. DEPSTAR has total intake of 300 Seats with Computer Engineering (120 seats), Computer Science & Engineering (120 seats) and Information Technology (60 seats). The average experience of faculties is more than 6 years in Teaching, Industry and Research Domain. To be known as leading institute in the education and research by imparting knowledge which meets the requirements of digital age. To engender globally competent engineers for the betterment of society. In the next decade for all the educational institutions, the spotlight will be on competition. We are spending more time on and with the students and training them. Students must have specific skill sets in terms of ability to connect their talent with the outside world. In the era of employment-oriented education, focus should be on actual job placement and the number of students going for masters’ programs (post-graduation). Specific responsibilities will include strengthening the Academic Programs, Improving the students’ success in all kinds of Examinations, Establishing the brand image of CHARUSAT in the society, Alumni Relations, Enhancements in placements and community outreach, Budget and Resource Management, fundraising through Consultancy and Project works and Professional tie ups with Institutions and Industries.
