Established in 1984, DY Patil College of Engineering and Technology (also known as DYPCOET) is one of the premier Engineering colleges located in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. The College comes under the purview of Dr DY Patil Technical Campus (DYPTC) founded by the chairman of DY Patil Group honorable Dr Ajeenkye DY Patil. The College has been approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Directorate of Technical Education Government of Maharashtra (DTE GoM). Also, it is affiliated to Shivaji University Kolhapur and is accredited with ‘A’ grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
