Faculty of Commerce, Management and Law of THE CVM UNIVERSITY (Established under the Gujarat Act No. 8 of 2009, Government of Gujarat | Management Aegis: Charutar Vidya Mandal (Estd.: 1945)) consists of Board of Studies - Commerce, Management, Hotel and Tourism Management and Law. It’s constituent colleges include S G M English Medium College of Commerce and Management (SEMCOM – Estd.: 1997)), C Z Patel College of Business and Management (CZPCBM – Estd.: 2003) and R N Patel Ipcowala School of Law and Justice (RNPISLJ - Estd.: 2012) and ambits Faculty of Arts through its Liberal Education / Arts related initiatives courses.
The activities at FCML are knowledge driven and contribute to world through excellence in teaching, research and social aspects. Since its inception, the FCML has been assuming leadership roles by taking strides through proactive and holistic approach to teaching, learning, pedagogy, evaluations through its world-class programmes and course curriculums that are instrumental forces for its encompassing growth and development. It has a team of experienced, dedicated and well-qualified faculty members and a enthusiastic visiting / guests faculty members drawn from both academics and industry having rich experiences in imparting management world. It provides an excellent all-round environment of teaching, research and consultancy for faculty and staff for their personal development. It imparts management education with a unique learner-centric pedagogy and facilitates individual and self-management / learning for the aspiring leaders and entrepreneurs.
The unique contributions includes a course on Creativity, Problem Solving and Innovation (CPI*) which is being offered across all the UG Programmes of the University with resultant contributions to entrepreneurship development in a hub of entrepreneurs. Constituent College(s) is / are NAAC / GSIRF Accredited with distinction of publishing UGC Listed (B Group) journal and aspires to contribute to quality benchmarks in education nationally and internationally leveraging its rich alumni network globally. GSIRF Ranking 2021 recognised SEMCOM as ONLY Commerce and Management College among the Top 11 in the State of Gujarat.
